change a zone to Hard mode?

sorry just returned after a few years and trying to get back into things

You need to have completed that campaign on one of your characters (doesnt have to be the charatcer your currently on) you also need to be level 20.

On the top of the party menu theres a symbol of a red helmet, click that while in an outpost to change to hardmode.
